I built my new machine some days ago, it works nicely, very powerfull PC, works well.

There”s only one small thing that worries me, everytime i turn the PC on, after the BIOS logo, it shows the “FW Status Recovery Error” message before booting the OS up.
After that, it works ok, i can do everything with it, no problems at all.
What does it mean? It has to do with the jumpers set on the mobo? How can i solve it?

Is the CMOS jumper on the correct pins on the motherboard? (check mobo manual/internet if you are not sure)
If the jumper is in the correct position, try to update the BIOS
It is in it”s original position, on pin 1 and pin 2.
This is what it says about the CMOS jumper in the mobo install guide (attachment).
Should i just leave it open?

Okay, just leave that open.
I”m not sure what the problem is then, but many people on other forums have solved this issue by updating the BIOS. You can try that and see if it helps.

BTW, the BIOS is updated, first thing i ever did on the system…
